On May 29th, the Bluford Healthcare Leadership Institute welcomed its 6th cohort of Scholars to the Kansas City area for another dynamic program. The Scholars also enjoyed field trips across the metro that included a performance by the Kansas City Symphony at Kauffman Center for Performing Arts, a tour of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and a team building outing at Topgolf.
John Bluford Receives AHA Award of Honor
The American Hospital Association (AHA) today announced that its 2019 Award of Honor will be awarded to John W. Bluford, III, founder and president of the Bluford Healthcare Leadership Institute (BHLI) for the organization’s leadership in professional workforce development, diversity, and health equity.
